Carbon Offsets are a way of compensating for the carbon we create when we travel around. The more we travel, the more carbon we generate.
Any project that reduces the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, to compensate for the emissions we create in our day-to-day lives, is offsetting carbon. Examples of Carbon Offsetting may include the United Nations Carbon Offset Platform and Gold Standard which runs 1700 projects in over 80 countries. Both can be subscribed to through the Carbon Offsetting Spoke.
